This is a wonderful program for families of children with special needs and individuals with disabilities. People living in any state of the country and disabled before age 26, may open a special savings account (online!!), to shield up to $100k and still maintain government benefits. Below is a link to a good article, which explains ABLE accounts in more detail and the Ohio program. Ohio calls them STABLE accounts, but they are the same as ABLE accounts.
